League NewsDear All League dates for 2008 - 2009 are as follows: Sep 08 - 6, 13, 27 Oct 08 - 4, 11 Nov 08 - 8, 15, 22 Dec 08 - 6, 13 Jan 09 - 10, 17, 31 Feb 09 - 7, 14, 28 Mar 09 - 7, 14, 21, 28 April 09 - 4, 18, 25 Please note that not all venues have confirmed out bookings yet, so there
may need to be a slight change for January (24th instead of 10th). I have
tried to avoid school holidays as much as possible – April 18th will
not be a full days fixture. In addition, remember that each team only
plays 18 of the 23 dates above. Please note that in previous years I have been able to accommodate teams who have asked for up to 2 dates ‘free’ due to weddings etc, and also teams who have asked for only morning matches or afternoon matches. However, this has meant that other teams who are the same letter also have to have these dates free or morning/afternoon only games. This has resulted in gaps in play and uneven distribution of times. A few clubs have not been happy about this, so I am afraid the facility will not be available this season.
